Mountain/Bob Seger System Aragon Ballroom Concert Poster (American Tribal Productions, circa early 1970s). During the 1970s, Chicago's Aragon Ballroom was home to a number of so-called "monster" rock shows, marathon events lasting six hours or more, and featuring several bands. Here's a nifty Skip Williamson-designed poster for such a show, featuring Mountain (with guitarist Leslie West), Bob Seger System, the Litter, Bloodrock, and the Micki Mark Men ("from Sweden"). Skip was, of course, one of Chicago's best-known Underground Comix artists, as well as one-time art director for Gallery Magazine.The poster measures approximately 17" x 22" and has been professionally linen backed. The poster appears to be in NM- condition. It's definitely a poster we've never seen, or can even find mention of, so we consider this one rare.
